UK5 Vodka is world's first Organic Vodka made from 100% rye. The actual organic farm in which the Rye is produced is located in Germany has been organic for over 30 years. There are many unique points when talking about UK5 Organic Vodka with the most important being we are the world's only non filtered Vodka. The result is UK5 is an extremely smooth distillate. Most people believe filtering is good for the product and the fact is they are correct. But that is due to all the impurities that exist in conventional Vodkas. As a result they must be extracted from the liquid before people can drink the product. Filtering extracts all the impurities but it also takes out all the flavors and essences of the Vodka. After all, it is impossible to take out the bad without taking out the good.  

When you smell our UK5 Organic Vodka please note there is very little alcohol smell. There is however a hint of fruit esters. That is a result of the organic rye we use and the way in which it is distilled. A strong alcohol aroma is not a particularly good trait especially when trying to enjoy a nice Vodka on the rocks or  served with your favorite mixer. 

UK5 is perfect for making a Vodka Martini and as we like to say, "If you want the world's best Vodka Martini you must use the world's best vodka and that is UK5 Organic Vodka".

The purer a vodka, the better it is. That is why UK5 Organic Vodka uses only the worlds purest water and the world's finest organic grain which has a denser cell structure perfect for making premium vodka.
Conventional vodka is made from grain sprayed on average at least 7 times with chemicals; these chemicals which are found in our water supply and food chain, are feared to cause human cancers, interfere with our hormones and our human nervous system. In 1998, UK companies used 50,000 tons of grain, grown using artificial chemicals in the production of Gin and Vodka.

Clear Air.
All of us strive for pure, clear, clean air, yet all the time our air is under threat.

Chlorothalonil is one of the most widely used fungicides applied to grain and according to the US Environmental Protection Agency, is a possible cause of cancer.⁽²⁾
Our air is contaminated with air born particles every time any type of chemical spray is used.

Clear Water.
Clear clean water is at the heart of our ability to perform in sport and at work. Yet chemicals draining off grain fields which have been treated, are a constant danger to humans and wildlife.

Lindane, is a seed treatment, is frequently found in UK estuarine water, freshwater and ground water at levels above Environmental Quality standards.⁽³⁾ It is a possible cause of cancer ⁽⁴⁾ and has been reported in human milk in countries worldwide.⁽⁵⁾
Isoprotuon & Diflufenican are Herbicides that have been found in 17% of surface water, at levels that exceed EU standards. It is harmful to fish, aquatic invertebrates and plant life.⁽⁶⁾

Clear Conscience
We all take the performance of our hormones for granted. Yet, chemicals sprayed on conventional grain could be disrupting them in the short and medium term, creating unknown long term ill effects.

Fonofos is a seed treatment. It is an organophosphorus pesticide, which may have short or medium term effects on human and animal hormone systems. It is extremely toxic and is classified as a poison.⁽⁷⁾
Lindane is a potential endocrine disrupting chemical,⁽⁸⁾ which means it may disrupt human hormonal systems. It is soluble in fat and bio accumulates in the food chain.⁽⁹⁾

Clear Head
Today, sports and business require intense focus and 100% commitment. Chemicals sprayed on grain are feared to be disrupting human nervous systems.

Dimethoate is an Insecticide which is potentially harmful to the human nervous system. It is broad spectrum, which means it is dangerous to many non-target species.⁽¹⁰⁾
Tri-Allate is a Herbicide which is potentially dangerous to the human nervous system. Operators must wear protective clothing and whilst many uses for it have been revoked it is still used.⁽¹¹⁾
